Your sponsorship payment of £15 is a small sacrifice you make to make a real difference in a child's life in NorthEast Sri Lanka. Just £15 per month to make a difference to a child's future. Your donation will be predominantly used to provide food, clothing, accommodation and educational facilities for the child. SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMMEOver 65000 children have been affected by the war or the Boxing Day tsunami. As the natural family environment, is the best suited for the upbringing of a child. The sponsorship programme endeavours to encourage families to care for the children within the family environment with your financial assistance. Children are chosen on the basis of need, regardless of their sex, race, castle or religion. Families are encouraged to care for the children within the family environment with your donations providing financial assistance. A social worker is allocated for every 150 children to monitor progress and provide a written report to the respective sponsors. Reports, including updated photos of the sponsored child will be uploaded on the web at least quarterly. As a sponsor, you will be given a login and password so that you can access your child’s details at your convenience
